1. Agreement to Terms

By accessing or using Ride ("Service"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service ("Terms"). If you do not agree to these Terms, do not use the Service.

2. Service Description

Ride operates as a platform providing direct ride, marketplace, collectibles, and arcade services. Affiliate partner services are not part of the Service and are not offered through redirects to third-party websites.

Direct Pi Payment Services

Services where you pay in Pi through the Ride payment flow:

  • Pi Pioneer Driver rides (verified Pi Network members)
  • Pi Pioneer food and package delivery
  • Future direct partnership services

✓ Real Pi transactions • ✓ Rider payment is credited to the driver dashboard balance after completion • ✓ Driver cashout transfers eligible balance to the driver's Pi wallet

Affiliate Partner Services

Affiliate partner services are not currently offered. Ride does not redirect users to third-party sites for payment or booking.

  • Uber, Lyft, and other ride-sharing services
  • Food delivery platforms (DoorDash, Uber Eats, GrubHub)
  • Hotels, car rentals, entertainment venues

No third-party redirects, credit-card checkout, USD partner-site payments, or affiliate booking services are offered through Ride.

All services are clearly labeled to distinguish between direct Pi payment and affiliate redirect services.

3. Eligibility

  • You must be at least 18 years old to use this Service
  • You must have a valid Pi Network account
  • You must have sufficient Pi cryptocurrency to make payments for direct Pi services
  • You must comply with all applicable laws in your jurisdiction

4. Pi Network Integration

Our Service uses Pi Network authentication and payment infrastructure. By using Ride, you also agree to:

  • Pi Network's Terms of Service
  • Pi Network's Privacy Policy
  • Pi Network's payment processing policies

We are not responsible for issues arising from Pi Network's services, including blockchain delays, transaction failures, or account suspensions.

5. Payments and Fees

5.1 Pi Network Payment Services

Services paid directly through Pi cryptocurrency:

  • Driver rides and deliveries, with the applicable driver plan commission deducted from the fare
  • Marketplace purchases from verified Pi sellers
  • Direct service bookings through Pi payment gateway

5.3 Pi Pioneer Driver Program

  • Upfront Plan: One-time registration fee to become a verified driver with 18% fixed commission on all rides
  • No-Upfront Plan: Free signup with 20% fixed commission on all rides
  • Commission Agreement: The standard plan begins at 20%. After 500 completed rides, the commission increases by 1 percentage point to 21%; after 1,000 completed rides, it increases by another 1 percentage point to 22%. These rates are applied by the ride completion flow.
  • Priority Placement: Pioneer drivers appear first in search results
  • Dashboard Balance Payments: After ride completion, the driver's net earnings are credited to the driver's dashboard balance. The driver may use the dashboard cashout control to transfer eligible funds to the driver's Pi wallet; cashouts are manually processed until Pi's user-payment process is released.

6. User Responsibilities

You agree to:

  • Provide accurate location and contact information
  • Use the Service only for lawful purposes
  • Not interfere with or disrupt the Service
  • Not attempt to manipulate pricing or referral systems
  • Treat service providers (drivers, restaurants, venues) with respect
  • Maintain the security of your Pi Network account

7. Third-Party Services

7.1 Direct Service Providers: When using Pi Pioneer driver services, Ride acts as a payment facilitator between you and independent drivers who are verified Pi Network members.

7.2 No Liability: Ride is not responsible for the quality, safety, or legality of services provided by direct service providers. Disputes should be resolved directly with the service provider.

7.3 Independent Contractors: Pi Pioneer drivers are independent contractors, not employees of Ride. Ride does not control driver schedules, vehicle maintenance, or service delivery methods.

8. Location Services

Our Service requires access to your device's location. By using the Service, you consent to location tracking for the purposes of providing local services, calculating distances, and processing bookings. You can disable location services, but this will limit Service functionality.

9. Referral Program

Eligible arcade players may receive referral rewards by sharing their personal referral link. A referral is recorded when another player opens the link and connects or uses an eligible arcade account.

  • The referred player must complete an eligible tournament before the referral qualifies.
  • The first qualified referral unlocks one free 0.10π Newbie tournament entry for the referring player.
  • Each additional group of three qualified referrals unlocks one additional free 0.10π Newbie entry.
  • Free entries are locked to the eligible tournament entry and are not cashable, transferable, or redeemable for cash.
  • Self-referrals, duplicate accounts, automated referrals, and attempts to manipulate completion records are prohibited.

We may withhold, reverse, or cancel referral rewards and suspend accounts when we reasonably believe the referral program has been abused or used fraudulently.

9. Ride Legends Arcade Tournaments

Ride Legends Arcade Tournaments are skill-based gaming competitions where users pay entry fees in Pi cryptocurrency to compete for prize pools.

9.1 Tournament Entry

  • Entry fees are paid in Pi and are non-refundable once a match begins
  • Players can only enter each tournament once to prevent self-competition
  • A tournament starts when the first player enters and ends when the player quota for that game is filled; the specified winners are then paid automatically
  • Entry fees are held in escrow until tournament completion

9.2 Game Saves, Disconnects, and Resume Window

  • Players may not pause IQ Arena tournament games, and IQ Arena is not covered by the non-IQ resume window described below.
  • For paid tournament games other than IQ Arena, an entry that has started remains in the player's Active Tournaments area for up to 12 hours after its last recorded activity.
  • During that window, the player may return through the existing Resume Tournament button. The game may resume from the latest supported checkpoint; exact frame-by-frame recovery is not guaranteed after a browser, device, network, or Pi Browser reset.
  • If the player does not return or complete the non-IQ game within the 12-hour window, the entry may be closed with a zero score under the applicable tournament rules.
  • An entry is not considered completed merely because the player disconnects. It is completed only through the game's verified completion flow or expiration of the resume window.
  • Free-play save behavior, when available, does not change paid tournament entry, resume-window, or payout rules.

9.3 Prizes and Payouts

  • The top listed players for each tournament tier receive Pi prizes according to that tier's specified payouts
  • Payouts are automatically credited to winners' dashboards when the player quota is filled, with the record shown in Recent Activity
  • Prize distribution is stated for each game tier, including the number of winners and the payout amount for each position. If players tie for a payout position, that position's prize is split among the tied players.
  • Each game tier specifies the percentage retained by the applicable pot before the remaining prize pool is distributed

9.4 Fair Play

  • Use of bots, automation, or game modifications is strictly prohibited
  • Suspicious activity may result in account suspension and prize forfeiture
  • Disputes can be filed within 24 hours of tournament completion
  • We reserve the right to review game replays for verification

10. Cancellations

  • You may cancel bookings according to each service provider's cancellation policy
  • Late cancellations may result in partial or full charges
  • Pi cryptocurrency payments already processed on the blockchain cannot be reversed

11. Disclaimer of Warranties

THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE" WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND. WE DO NOT GUARANTEE UNINTERRUPTED ACCESS, ACCURACY OF INFORMATION, OR AVAILABILITY OF THIRD-PARTY SERVICES.

12. Limitation of Liability

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, PI RIDE SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, INCLUDING LOSS OF PROFITS, DATA, OR PI CRYPTOCURRENCY.

13. Account Termination

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your access to the Service at any time for violations of these Terms, fraudulent activity, or any reason at our discretion.

14. Changes to Terms

We may modify these Terms at any time. Continued use of the Service after changes constitutes acceptance of the modified Terms.

15. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by and construed in accordance with applicable laws. Any disputes shall be resolved through binding arbitration.

16. Collectibles Marketplace Liability

16.1 Product Authenticity and Condition

  • No Verification: Ride does not authenticate, verify, or inspect any products listed on the marketplace
  • Seller Responsibility: Sellers alone are responsible for accurate product descriptions, condition assessments, and authenticity claims
  • Buyer Due Diligence: Buyers must independently verify product condition, authenticity, and compliance with local laws before purchase
  • No Liability: Ride is not liable for counterfeit products, misrepresented condition, fraud, or any disputes arising from product quality

16.2 Return and Shipping Liability

  • Return Shipping Costs: Buyer is responsible for return shipping costs unless item is defective or non-delivery
  • Shipping Carrier Risk: Ride is not liable for packages lost, damaged, or delayed in transit. Buyers and sellers assume all shipping carrier risks
  • Return Authorization: All returns must be authorized by seller and must occur within return window specified in listing
  • Condition Upon Return: Returned items must be in condition consistent with return reason. Additional damage or wear may result in return rejection
  • Carrier Disputes: Disputes with shipping carriers are between buyer/seller and carrier; Ride acts as mediator only

16.3 Dispute Resolution Limitations

  • Best-Effort Mediation: Ride mediates disputes but makes no guarantee of resolution
  • Final Decisions: Ride's dispute decisions are final and binding; users waive right to pursue claims in court (except where prohibited by law)
  • Blockchain Limitations: Refunds require seller cooperation. Ride cannot reverse blockchain transactions
  • Evidence Requirements: Disputes require objective evidence (photos, tracking, documentation). Subjective claims without evidence may be denied
  • Dispute Window: Disputes must be filed within 30 days of delivery; late disputes not accepted

16.4 User-Generated Content Liability

  • Seller Listings: Sellers are solely responsible for accuracy, legality, and compliance of product listings
  • Buyer Reviews: Buyers are solely responsible for accuracy and truthfulness of reviews and ratings
  • Prohibited Content: No false statements, defamation, harassment, or misleading claims. Violations result in content removal and account suspension
  • Ride Protection: Users indemnify Ride from all claims arising from user-generated content

16.5 Prohibited Items and Compliance

  • Seller Responsibility: Sellers must ensure all items are legal to sell in their jurisdiction and compliant with local laws
  • No Verification: Ride does not verify legality or compliance of products; sellers assume all legal responsibility
  • Prohibited Categories: Counterfeit, stolen, hazardous, restricted, or illegal items are strictly prohibited
  • Removal Rights: Ride may remove listings and suspend accounts for violating terms, without notice or liability

17. Arcade Tournament Liability and Limitations

17.1 Payout Guarantees and Limitations

  • No Guarantee: Ride makes no guarantee that tournaments will complete, payouts will be distributed, or prizes will be awarded
  • Platform Failures: Technical failures, blockchain delays, or Pi Network issues may prevent payout distribution
  • Payout Delays: Payouts may be delayed due to system maintenance, technical issues, or blockchain congestion
  • Suspension of Tournaments: Ride may suspend, cancel, or modify tournaments at any time without liability
  • Forfeited Entries: Non-refundable; entry fees forfeited if player abandons or is disqualified

17.2 Anti-Cheat and Fair Play

  • Cheat Detection: Ride monitors for cheating, bots, and unfair practices using automated and manual reviews
  • Account Suspension: Suspected cheaters may be suspended without notice or opportunity to respond
  • Prize Forfeiture: Cheaters forfeit all prizes, entry fees, and earnings from suspect tournaments
  • No Appeals: Cheat verdicts are final; Ride makes no guarantee of appeal process or reversal

17.3 Game State and Connectivity

  • No Liability for Disconnections: Ride is not liable for disconnections, network failures, or device issues
  • Resume Window: For paid games other than IQ Arena, an unresolved disconnection remains resumable through Active Tournaments for up to 12 hours after the last recorded activity. After that window, the entry may be closed with a zero score under the applicable tournament rules.
  • Device Failure: Users assume all risk for device failures, data loss, or game save issues
  • No Replays: Games cannot be replayed; scores are final once tournament completes

17.4 Dispute Limitations

  • Dispute Window: Must be filed within 24 hours of tournament completion
  • Evidence Required: Disputes require objective evidence; subjective claims denied
  • Final Decision: Ride makes final dispute decisions; no appeals or reversals
  • Blockchain Finality: Once payouts released to blockchain, they cannot be reversed

18. User Indemnification

You agree to indemnify, defend, and hold harmless Ride, its officers, employees, and agents from any and all claims, damages, liabilities, and expenses arising from:

  • Your violation of these Terms or applicable laws
  • Your use or misuse of the Service
  • Your transactions with other users or service providers
  • Products you list or purchase on the marketplace
  • Content you generate, upload, or submit
  • Your disputes with other users
  • Claims by third parties related to your activities

19. Cryptocurrency Disclaimer

Volatility: Pi cryptocurrency value fluctuates and is subject to market conditions. Ride makes no representation of Pi's value, stability, or future performance.

Irreversibility: All blockchain transactions are permanent and non-reversible. Ride cannot recover lost, stolen, or mistakenly sent cryptocurrency.

Regulatory Risk: Cryptocurrency regulation is evolving. Users assume all risk related to regulatory changes or legal restrictions on Pi in their jurisdiction.

Network Risk: We are not responsible for Pi Network's performance, security, or availability. Blockchain delays or failures are beyond our control.

20. Limitation of Liability - Complete

NO LIABILITY: TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, PI RIDE SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR:

  • ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES
  • LOSS OF PROFITS, REVENUE, DATA, OR Pi CRYPTOCURRENCY
  • PRODUCT QUALITY, AUTHENTICITY, DELIVERY, OR CONDITION
  • DISPUTES BETWEEN USERS
  • THIRD-PARTY SERVICE FAILURES OR QUALITY
  • BLOCKCHAIN FAILURES OR DELAYS
  • ACCOUNT SECURITY OR UNAUTHORIZED ACCESS
  • ANY DAMAGES RELATED TO MARKETPLACE TRANSACTIONS

YOUR SOLE REMEDY FOR DISSATISFACTION IS TO STOP USING THE SERVICE.

21. Contact Information and Retention

You agree to provide accurate contact information when it is needed to apply as a driver, join a waitlist, request or complete a ride, receive service updates, or address safety and support matters.

We may retain contact information for as long as reasonably necessary to provide the Services, administer driver applications, document rides and payments, investigate safety incidents, resolve disputes, prevent fraud, and meet legal or regulatory obligations. We will not retain it indefinitely when the applicable purpose or lawful retention requirement has ended.

You may request access, correction, or deletion of personal information as described in our Privacy Policy. Some information may need to be retained or anonymized where required for legal compliance, accounting, security, fraud prevention, or dispute resolution.

22. Ride Marketplace Terms

The Ride Marketplace is a peer-to-peer platform where verified Pi Network members can buy and sell goods using Pi cryptocurrency.

17.1 Seller Requirements and Responsibilities

  • Registration: One-time $150 registration fee, paid in Pi at the current Pi value (subject to promotional discounts via promo codes)
  • Fee Structure: Premium: $150 upfront, paid in Pi at the current Pi value, with no per-item listing fee, a 3% transaction fee, and unlimited product listings. Standard: no upfront fee with a 5% transaction fee.
  • Accurate Listings: Sellers must provide truthful descriptions, accurate images, and correct pricing
  • Product Images: Upload clear photos; optional 3D visualization uses uploaded images and is charged at $0.05 per photo, converted to Pi at the current rate. The applicable image fee is shown before confirmation.
  • Color Variants: If offering multiple colors, clearly specify available options with accurate representations
  • Inventory Management: Maintain accurate stock levels and promptly mark items as sold
  • Order Fulfillment: Ship items within stated timeframes and provide tracking information
  • Communication: Respond to buyer inquiries within 24 hours
  • Prohibited Items: No illegal, counterfeit, hazardous, or restricted items

17.2 Buyer Rights and Responsibilities

  • Browse Freely: Search and filter products by category, location, business, and price
  • 3D Product Views: Interactive 3D visualization available for products with multiple angle photos
  • Color Selection: Choose from available color variants when offered by seller
  • Make Offers: Submit price offers to sellers for negotiation
  • Payment: All purchases processed through Pi Network wallet using Pi cryptocurrency
  • Due Diligence: Review product details, seller ratings, and shipping terms before purchase
  • Disputes: Contact seller first; escalate to Ride support if unresolved

17.3 Marketplace Payments and Transactions

  • Pi Wallet Required: All transactions use Pi Network cryptocurrency
  • Mainnet Payments: Marketplace transactions use Pi Network mainnet payment processing where available.
  • Buy Now: Instant purchase at listed price with immediate Pi wallet payment
  • Make Offer: Buyers can propose alternative prices; sellers accept or counter
  • Transaction Finality: Blockchain transactions are permanent and non-reversible once confirmed
  • Platform Fee: 3% for Premium sellers and 5% for Standard sellers
  • Payment Processing: Buyer pays full amount; seller receives amount minus platform fee

17.4 Product Listings and Content

  • Product Photos: Sellers own copyright to uploaded photos
  • 3D Visualization: Optional feature using uploaded multi-angle photos to create interactive 3D view
  • Color Variants: Sellers can specify available colors via photo uploads or color picker
  • Content License: Sellers grant Ride license to display product content on platform
  • Prohibited Content: No copyrighted, offensive, misleading, or illegal content
  • Removal Rights: Ride reserves right to remove listings violating terms

17.5 Shop Customization

  • Business Profile: Customize shop name, description, and branding
  • Product Categories: Organize products into categories for easy browsing
  • Display Templates: Choose from grid, list, or featured product layouts
  • Shop Settings: Control visibility, display modes, and product arrangement

17.6 Disputes and Returns

  • Item Not Received: Buyer may file dispute if item not delivered within stated timeframe
  • Item Not as Described: Buyer may request return if item significantly differs from listing
  • Return Policy: Each seller sets own return policy; clearly stated in listing
  • Refund Processing: If approved, refund issued in Pi cryptocurrency to buyer's wallet
  • Platform Mediation: Ride may mediate disputes but is not liable for resolution outcomes
  • Blockchain Limitations: Refunds require seller cooperation; cannot reverse blockchain transactions

17.7 Seller Fees

  • Fee Plan Selection: Sellers may upgrade from Standard to Premium through the Marketplace or Business Dashboard Upgrade button by paying $150 in Pi at the current Pi value. The upgrade is applied after payment confirmation.
  • Transaction Reporting: Sellers receive monthly sales reports and earnings statements
  • Withdrawal: Earnings remain in the seller dashboard balance until the seller uses the dashboard cashout button to request transfer to the seller's Pi wallet. Cashouts may be manually processed.

17.8 Marketplace Liability

Platform Role: Ride operates as a marketplace platform connecting buyers and sellers. We are not a party to transactions between buyers and sellers.

  • Ride does not guarantee product quality, authenticity, or seller performance
  • Sellers are independent contractors responsible for product legality and compliance
  • Buyers assume risk when purchasing from sellers
  • Ride not liable for damages from defective products, fraud, or non-delivery
  • Users agree to indemnify Ride from claims arising from marketplace transactions

17.9 Prohibited Marketplace Activities

  • Selling counterfeit, stolen, or illegal goods
  • Price manipulation or artificial inflation
  • False reviews or ratings
  • Harassment of buyers or sellers
  • Money laundering or fraud
  • Circumventing platform fees through off-platform transactions
  • Multiple accounts to exploit promo codes
  • Selling movie tickets, gift cards, or any products with links that take users away from the Pi ecosystem

23. Marketplace Trust and Safety Systems

18.1 Seller Trust Score System

All marketplace sellers are evaluated on performance metrics that determine payment processing and visibility:

  • Trust Score Components: Shipping speed, product quality, communication, dispute history
  • Public Display: Trust badges and ratings visible on seller profiles and product listings
  • Performance Impact: Higher trust scores result in better search placement and buyer confidence
  • Score Updates: Trust scores update automatically based on buyer reviews and dispute outcomes

18.2 Escrow Payment Protection

  • First Sale Escrow: New sellers' first sale payment held in escrow until delivery confirmed
  • Instant Release After Success: After first successful delivery, all future payments release instantly to seller wallet
  • Protection Re-Activation: If seller receives 2 poor shipping ratings (below 3 stars) or any dispute is filed, escrow automatically re-enables
  • Release Timing: Escrow payments release 7 days after delivery or when buyer confirms receipt
  • Dispute Holds: Active disputes pause payment release until resolution
  • Non-Reversible: Once released from escrow, blockchain transactions cannot be reversed

18.3 Buyer Review and Rating System

  • Required Ratings: Overall experience (1-5 stars), shipping speed (1-5 stars), product quality (1-5 stars)
  • Verified Purchase Badge: Only actual buyers can review products
  • Review Timing: Buyers can submit reviews after delivery confirmation
  • Public Visibility: Reviews and ratings publicly displayed on product pages
  • Edit Window: Reviews editable within 30 days of submission
  • Seller Responses: Sellers may publicly respond to reviews
  • Helpful Voting: Users can vote reviews as helpful or not helpful
  • Prohibited Content: No profanity, personal attacks, or false statements in reviews

18.4 Dispute Resolution Process

  • Filing Disputes: Buyers may file disputes for "Item Not Received" or "Not as Described"
  • Evidence Required: Photos, tracking info, and detailed descriptions required
  • Seller Response: Sellers have 48 hours to respond to disputes
  • Admin Mediation: Ride administrators review evidence and make binding decisions
  • Refund Outcomes: If buyer prevails, refund issued in Pi to buyer's wallet; seller's trust score impacted
  • Seller Protection: Tracking numbers and delivery confirmations protect sellers from false claims
  • Repeated Disputes: Sellers with multiple disputes may face listing restrictions or account suspension

18.5 Poor Shipping Rating Consequences

  • Threshold: 2 shipping ratings below 3 stars triggers automatic consequences
  • Escrow Re-Activation: Instant payments suspended; future sales held in escrow
  • Visibility Impact: Poor shipping badge displayed on seller profile
  • Recovery: 5 consecutive positive shipping ratings (4+ stars) removes restrictions
  • Seller Dashboard Alerts: Real-time notifications of trust score changes

18.6 Fraud Prevention

  • Automated detection of suspicious listing patterns and pricing
  • Review monitoring for fake or coordinated reviews
  • Transaction analysis for unusual patterns
  • Immediate suspension of accounts engaging in fraudulent activity
  • Cooperation with law enforcement when illegal activity detected

18.7 Seller Account Suspension

Ride reserves the right to suspend or terminate seller accounts for:

  • 3 or more unresolved disputes in 90-day period
  • Trust score falling below 2.0 stars
  • Consistent poor shipping ratings (below 3 stars average)
  • Selling prohibited or counterfeit items
  • Manipulating reviews or trust scores
  • Failure to ship items within stated timeframes
